From the very beginning Tecnotalasa has been involved in top-competition racing projects. Our professional experience is guaranteed with a background of excellent results.
These projects include the Telefonica and Movistar racing boats and the installation of their navigation and communication systems. We also collaborated in testing the electronic equipment installed on the VOR70 (Volvo Ocean Race).

During the first edition of the Barcelona World Race 2007-2008, we provided technical support to various participating teams: the IMOCA Open 60 Mutua Madrileña, IMOCA Open 60 Estrella Damm and the IMOCA Open 60 Hugo Boss.
During the second edition of the Barcelona World Race 2010-2011 we provided support and assistance to the five IMOCA Open 60s that made up the FNOB fleet: Renault Z.E., Estrella Damm, Gaes, Fòrum Marítim Català and We are Water.
The IMOCA Open 60 ACCIONA 100% EcoPowered has been the first ever racing boat in the class to sail entirely on 100% clean energy and zero emissions. It is an innovating project that strengthens research in the field of eco-efficiency for sailing at the highest level.

The Swan 80 Plis Play was launched in 1999 as Alalunga. The ship is a design by German Frers. In autumn 2011 has been carrying out a complete refit. The Project Manager entrusted to Tecnotalasa the communication and marine electronic work.Read more

The Charisma was built in aluminum by Palmer Johnson in 1970. The yacht is one of the first IOR designs of Olin J.Stephens. In 2003 the boat underwent a refit, the shipowner trusted Tecnotalasa to perform for marine electronic and communication on board.Read more
